Founded in January 2006, our
mission is to provide a venue for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for the
community of hand weavers of Central Virginia. We began with 22 Charter Members and have continued to add to our numbers ever since. Members from Charlottesville and the surrounding counties represent all levels of weaving skills from beginning weavers through production weavers and weaving instructors. We welcome all who have an interest in any aspect of weaving from collectors to weaving students to professional weavers.
